Dark District – Unreal Engine 4 Lighting Exploration
Personal art test exploring ways to achieve dark mood boards in real-time using techniques such as baked lightmap GI, volumetric fog, screen space reflections (SSR) and heavy color grading/optics. This entire scene only uses lightmap textures, roughness maps, and several normal maps in order to work with a clean canvas. The mood is completly driven by light and atmosphere. 3D art asset models were mostly sourcced from Unreal Engine Marketplace.
